Annual Dog Days of Summer Photo Contest

At The Merrimack, the Dog Days of Summer also bring along some friendly competition! If you’ve got a photogenic pet, a camera of any kind, and a little spare time this summer, you’ve got a shot at winning $500 for yourself and $500 for your favorite animal rescue!

Here’s how you can WIN!

1. Grab a green bandana at Concord Market Days or at any Merrimack County Savings Bank branch.

2. Get your pet styled and posed in the bandana and snap a pic!

3. Upload your picture using the form below OR post your photo to Instagram and tag @MerrimackStyle, and include the hashtags #themerrimack #merrimackstyle #merrimackdogdays

4. Hang tight until August 12th when we announce the winner!

 

Please note:

  • Each entrant may enter up to 5 pets.
  • Each entrant may enter up to 10 pictures of each pet.
  • For the finalists, The Merrimack will pick one photo per pet.

Winner gets a $500 cash prize, plus a $500 donation to The Merrimack, Hillsborough, or Rockingham County 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue of their choice.

  • If any of your submitted photographs features the face of a child under the age of 18, the child’s parent or legal guardian must complete and sign a Parental Release Form giving us permission to publish a photo of their child. In order to protect the privacy and safety of children, we cannot consider any photos with children in them without receiving parental consent.

    Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, tiff, png, Max. file size: 50 MB.
    • Please size submitted versions of your photos so they are 2MB or less. PLEASE keep in mind that should you be selected as a winner, we will request original files at no smaller than 3,300 pixels wide and no larger than 100 MB. It’s important that you maintain separate versions of your images in case your image(s) is selected at a much higher resolution than those submitted for judging.

      The Merrimack reserves the right to crop or color correct the winning photo featured in the calendar or on the web. Please do not submit a photo that contains a watermark on the image.
