What is a Mobile Wallet?
A mobile wallet can store just about anything you would have in a physical wallet: credit cards, debit cards, coupons, even your driver’s license and vaccination records. Just download a mobile wallet app like Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet to get started adding your desired documents.
Why use a Mobile Wallet?
Believe it or not, it’s actually safer than using a physical card! Smartphones are not as easy to steal and duplicate. They’re also harder to access when there is a password, fingerprint check, or facial recognition installed.
Mobile wallets don’t store your debit card number on your device and use encryption and tokens for secure transactions, meaning merchants are paid but never have access to your debit card number.
How do I use my Mobile Wallet?
Easy! Once enrolled, you’ll make purchases using your fingerprint, a personal identification number (PIN) you create, or Face ID at participating merchants.
