Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) announces the promotion of Diana Johnson to Vice President, Marketing Officer, based out of the Bank’s main office in downtown Concord. In the midst of establishing a deeper focus on their local roots, Johnson will lead and oversee the marketing communications, social media and public relations programs to deliver on The Merrimack’s mission of helping the community thrive.
“We are excited to promote Diana and I have enjoyed watching her growth so far,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “Her experience, dedication and compassion for others have helped shape Merrimack Style over the years. I have no doubt she will excel in this position.”
In 2010, Johnson began her career with The Merrimack as a Marketing Specialist and was promoted six years later to Public Relations Officer for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp. During her tenure, Johnson also served as Relationship Marketing Officer, a role which required her to work closely with Lorden to provide continued support for local nonprofits.
“I love The Merrimack! We are really passionate about our community and truly go out of our way to prioritize the needs of the towns we serve,” said Johnson. “As The Merrimack Marketing Officer, I was gifted with an incredible opportunity to work for Linda, who leads by service and empowering others. I look forward to helping the bank continue this tradition.”
Johnson is an alumnae of Boston University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is also prominent in the community, currently serving as a Board Member for Granite United Way and a former mentor for the Circle Program, a nonprofit established to empower and transform young women across New Hampshire. Johnson resides in Hooksett with her husband.
