We proudly renewed our support for Riverbend Community Mental Health by sponsoring the 2021 Mental Health Awards for $5,000. The event occurs at 5:30 pm Wednesday, October 20 at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage in Concord.
Commissioner Robert L. Quinn, from the NH Department of Safety, will be this year’s honoree at the Champions for Mental Health. The dedication recognizes Commissioner Quinn’s efforts to explore ways to better address mental health and wellness needs for Department of Safety employees, which total 1,600 in all.
The Merrimack has supported the Champions for Mental Health Awards since its inception. “We’re thankful for organizations like Riverbend, who tend to the mental health of our community members. The services they offer address very important needs and we are happy to support them in any way we can,” said Linda Lorden, President Merrimack County Savings Bank. “Riverbend has helped a countless number of people and families with services that promote compassionate treatment for mental illness and emotional distress. It’s an honor to give back to an organization that has done such a tremendous amount of good for so many.”
