Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) proudly supports Harbor Care as the lead corporate partner for their Dignity of Home Initiative. We are proud to support Harbor Care as the lead corporate partner for their Dignity of Home Initiative. A three-month campaign during the coldest months of the year, Dignity of Home will focus on moving families and individuals experiencing homelessness within Greater Nashua into safe, stable housing.
The Merrimack’s investment will promote and support the four main initiatives of Harbor Care, including:
- Continued emphasis on delivering the COVID-19 vaccine to vulnerable community members
- Ending chronic homelessness in greater Nashua
- Ending veteran homelessness across New Hampshire
- Advancing diversity, equity and inclusion to best meet the needs of the community
“We’re proud to support the tireless work of Harbor Care,” said Linda Lorden, President of Merrimack County Savings Bank. “We commend and stand behind their goal of ending chronic homelessness because the Bank believes– as they do — that every person has value and deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Harbor Care advocates and offers resources and protection for our community’s most vulnerable people, and they serve as a wonderful role model for us all. We are thankful for all that they’ve accomplished.”
“We are grateful for The Merrimack’s generous support of our efforts and for championing the mission of Harbor Care,” said Peter Kelleher, President and CEO. “Our partnership with The Merrimack will greatly help in our efforts to end chronic homelessness in Nashua and veteran homelessness across the state.”
